Lidia Kafieh Will:
- Remember Who She Represents; and will therefore Communicate and Listen to the Residents of Ward 3 on Issues Affecting Us and Champion The Right Position
- Ensure we are All Represented and Included in Richmond Hill, Canada’s Second Most Ethnically Diverse Community
- Demand a Line by Line Item Justification of The Town’s Budget
- Not Vote in Favour of Any Planning Application that Negatively Impacts the Oak Ridges Moraine
- Oppose Vigorously the five High Rise Condominium Buildings proposed for the corner of Elgin and Bayview
- Support and push for implementation of those aspects of the Richmond Hill's Traffic Master Plan that recommends road improvements that focus on multiply occupant vehicles, as opposed to moving the single occupant vehicles
- Demand and work to for the enforcement by Transport Canada of the ‘Good Neighbour Policy’ for Buttonville Airport. As a member of the Buttonville Airport Community Committee, I will advocate improvements to the policy including the development of a system to verify compliance. Including the installation of flight path runway approach video camera recorders to document evidence, educate and enforce those flight rules
