Campaign contributions are limited to a maximum of $750.00 from an individual contributor to a candidate. A contributor shall not make contributions exceeding a total of $5,000.00 to candidates for office on the same Council jurisdiction. Donations over $25.00 must only be in the form of a cheque or credit card for deposit to the election account of the candidate. Anyone who donates will have their name and postal code posted on the Town of Richmond Hill website as part of the campaign’s financial return.
